The 72-storey skyscraper, soaring 310 metres (1,016ft) high, keeps getting berated for its empty floors.
But are they empty? Floors 31-33 are taken up by restaurants Hutong, Oblix and Aqua Shard. The Shangri-La hotel goes up from floors 34-52 and the apartments take up floors 53-66. The top floors (68-72) boast viewing platforms.
According to its website, the Shard’s office space spans from floors 2-28. Of these floors, 10 still remain empty.
Recruiter Robert Half just signed up for 20,200 sq ft of space on the 10th storey of the building. They are due to move in in October.
